Welcome to Real SEO Online
There are many different search engine spiders out there crawling in the WWW, yet, there are the three amigos that internet citizens call on daily basis, Search Engine Spiders (also known as web crawlers) are computer programs that index the World Wide Web (www) looking for information and storing what they find to their databases.
When you search google, it serves you results dynamically from its closest database (please remember that Google is a Global Business) and the way they rank pages are complex (well over 200 signals) it is smart enough to detect what is genuine relevant content and what is not, that's why its crucial to get your seo right, since there are seo companies who have short term gains from ranking you, it can hurt you in the long run if you get your seo wrong. (Please be aware that I don't want to place fear in you by saying that, but that's the honest truth, and it is better to be informed when searching for seo specialists than finding out later that all your efforts are wasted by some unprofessional profit hungry seo company)
So when you hear other seo consultants saying things like Google algorithms are not known to anyone but Google, they are correct when they say that (since every web professional knows that, lets still give them credit for working that bit out)
But that doesn't mean you can't start to understand how Google Rankings actually behaves and works, perhaps I've simply spent a lot of time watching its movements, watching it's behavior, investigating its changes its evolvement (seeing what it serves me after a search, studying what made that particular result come up, been watching it's every move for years now). I've tried negative testing, positive testing some of my websites, even changing font sizes and font colors, changing the navigations structure of my websites to see its impact on my rankings, changing its content (hey what the heck I even tried having no content to see if I could rank a page with no content in it) blog linking, directory linking, contextual linking, social bookmarking, writing articles to video submission, you name it, I tested it and tried so many different variations, I tested it again then untested it
Therefore when I say, I know exactly what works and what doesn't work online, you better believe it.
